Job Title: Human Resource Assistant
Pay Rate: $22.00/hr.
Schedule: Monday - Friday (8:00am to 5:00pm) (Schedule can vary)
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
Responsible for assisting a variety of HR services in support of the day-to-day operations and activities. Handing out applications, creating badges, going over hiring paperwork, creating spreadsheets, following up on any payroll questions and passing out checks, answering phones, following up on emails. This position works closely with all levels of employees within the organization and must demonstrate a high level of trust, confidentiality, good judgement, and collaboration. Reports to the HR Manager.
Job Requirements:
2+ Years experience required
Ability to type minimum of 45 WPM
College degree desired
Current Valid and unrestricted California Driver's License (Class C) required
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
Highly organized with excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must be able to effectively communicate in English; Bi-lingual Spanish required
Previous experience in assisting HR with various functions desired
Proficient computer skills - Excel & Word
Required to pass a criminal history background check upon hire
